Get to know: Eunhee Mears (Joy)

My name is Eunhee Mears, you can call me Joy as well.

I am very happy to introduce myself and my career to you.

I have been working as a massage therapist for over 10 years and have massaged over 25,000 clients with various clinical and therapeutic massage modalities and techniques  for pain and discomfort managements as well as relaxational soothing spa massages.

I have been working and been trained of various types of massage modalities such as Thai Traditional Massage, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Post surgery Lipo-Massage, Massage for pain treatments, Geriatric Massages, Sports Massages, Foot Reflexology, Facial Deep Tissue and fluid drainage Massage and body stretching.

For my training, I trained over 300 hours of Thai Traditional Massage in South Korea.

I have completed 570 hours of master course massage training in Houston Texas and 600 hours of Clinical Massage Therapy (CMT) from Columbia College in Vienna, Virginia. So I have earned a total of 1,170 hours of massage and bodywork training in the US. On top of these training, I have been trained in advanced Clinical Massage Therapy Techniques for CEU to refine my career competencies.

All of these trainings are very advanced for pain managements and exotic modalities for soothing and relaxations, that require prolonged training time and opportunity costs: such as preventing me from working during the trainings, high costs of tuition, and traveling expenses.I focus on the massages for pain managements as numerous people are suffering from chronic pains and discomforts: sitting at the computer desks and/or sitting and driving long hours, the activities of each individual's life styles, that endless number of people in everyday life suffer. That they suffer from stress-driven physical and psychological tensions, having stiff bodies, hard muscle contractions from wrong postures, and anxiety, that leads people to suffer endlessly everyday.
